So I'm reading a new book called "Troy High." It's Homer's "The Iliad," but in a modern high school. While I don't quite like the main character's hopes to become popular, I do understand her point of view. This book has struck a nerve with me, and I was hooked on the first sentence. I won't say anymore, you'll have to read it.
Also, I received the greatest news yesterday. Jimmy says that he's 95% sure he's returning to my school. It'll be after Christmas (and my birthday) and we won't have the same classes, but it's a comforting thought. I haven't seen him since the week of my birthday last year. I remember because I was going to yell at him for not being there on my Quencenera (not that I'd get one being white) but he said he'd dropped out. The news hit me hard, but we've kept in touch.
Second, I am going to be so busy this week. I have ads to get, a club and a nice dinner on Wednesday, two club meetings Thursday (both mandatory),IDK on Friday, babysitting Saturday, and a meeting with Mom's friend Sunday, PLUS, I have to go in to school on Monday to work on Yearbook stuff. Save me!
