So Saturday is Halloween. I wanted to go to Zombie Daze and spend the holiday with KK like I did last year, but when she moved, we saw that that wasn't happening. I got all depredded and din't want to do anything Halloween-ish. I got out of it and went to Zombie Daze yesterday and it was so much fun. I painted my face along with Prez (from JFC) and a random guy named Chris. While they obcessed over zobie bite marks on their faces and arms, I drew blood dripping from my mouth. Chris won a prize for best plan to survive a Zombie attack. I played Pin the Liver on the Zombie, and one girl pinned it on the groin, but we all got prizes. We also decorated glow-in-the-dark rubber ducks (I don't know either) so I made mine an emo with a gunshot wound to the chest. Then, I got named winner of the costume contest along with my friend Dylan (his clothes were in tatters) and a girl dressed like a (cutesy) witch. Go to iluvdevilschild.deviantart.com for pictures.
Also, since I'm running for Homecoming Court, I'm telling as many people as I possibly can. So I had the marvelous idea to tell my ex-best friend, who I sit with in History. She was excited and wanted to do my hair and make-up. I want to say no because I don't like her, and neither does Mom, but at the same time I'm tempted. The theme is Paris, and although I'll be dressed kind of like the girl in the "Into the Night," video, I want to look my best. Formal occasions are very important to me and every detail must be perfect. Then, if I win, I'll definately look pathetic walking in with no date, so I want to ask a guy. I don't know if he'll say yes and I'm scared that he won't. I really like him, but I've never been asked out, no less asked out a guy. My relationships just kind of happened. I need help.

Remeber
Sydney and Hunter in a different scenario.
♥Scar
--
Sydney had crushed on Hunter for a long time, but they were just friends. They rode together on the plane to England for a class trip. On the last day there, a burglar pushes Sydney down and she is knocked out.
Hunter finds her a few minutes later, lying in the street. He picks her up and carries her back to the hotel. As she lies on the bed, he cleans the dirt and blood off of her face. It pains him to see her like this. He loves her and sits next to her praying she'll wake up. She finally began to open her eyes after what seemed like forever.
She wakes up, hours later, very confused. She sees a man next to her. "Where am I? Who am I? Who are you?" she asks. "I am Hunter, you're Sydney, and this," he motions to the room, "is the greatest hotel in all of London." "So Hunter, who are you to me? Are you a criminal?" "No," he laughs, "I am your best friend. We were here on vacation and you fell. Don't worry, I'll take care of you."
It was almost murder to him to say that they were just friends, but he knew it was for the best. He just hoped that she would love him one day. They smiled at each other and hugged.

Georgia or Bust
I might be moving...again. Mom and I's roommate is driving us CRAZY! My Aunt and Uncle in Georgia offered us a room. I'd go to my cousin's high school down the street. I love my cousin, Mom knows this, but every year, she'll say, "I don't know if they're coming this year." He's like a brother to me and one year without him might kill me more deeply than KK moving or Jimmy dropping out. When the phone rang and my Uncle said, "I need to talk to your Mom," I knew my life was changing again. Mom and I'd have to share a room, but that's not a problem because we do that anyways. My main problem is that we couldn't take Gracey because of their numerous cats. Mom's initial thing was that our current residence is a learning experience to having roommates. Once I told her the college/living plans KK and I have, she said, "It's a big IF, you guys being friends then," but she argued that point no more.
Now her problem is with my grandparents finding out (and they would) and telling Daddy (they would.) That does not bother me at all. She might still hate him and fear him, but I don't. Dixie could run free in the backyard, I could see the dog we gave them before she dies. The only thing holding me in Florida right now is Homecoming, and Mom's promise to give me a 16th birthday party. If I didn't get my party, I'd be okay since I hardly ever got one anyway (because of money.)
I really want to go to Georgia and get out of this sauna. Money is so tight and our roommate is so annoying, I know Mom wants to go, but doesn't. I wish I could convince her. If you are religious, pray for us, if you aren't, cross your fingers that the best will happen. I just hope the best has me holding a sign that says "Georgia or Bust," even if it's in the moving truck.

Reject {Song}
I re-wrote this song about a boy I liked in middle school who was kind of a reject. I call him Leo. We never became a couple, and my heart is broken, but I still love him.
----
He goes to school every day and it's the same-old same-old thing
His hair's too long, nationality wrong
They caugh jokes as he walks by
They whisper and they giggle
They point and they laugh
They have a problem with acceptance
Chorus:
He can't wait to get out of this town
Everyone here is bringing him down
He'll make something of himself one day
Just you wait
But now he's just an unwanted, typical,
average, everyday reject
Unwanted reject
He's been crushing on the same girl for
way too long
It's a classic story of beauty and "beast"
But I think there's no ending his misery
Repeat Chorus
A week before the dance
I think I have a chance
But I cannot seem to find him in class
The very next day
My teacher sadly says, "My number one
student is dead (dead, dead).
He, his mom and his dad got in a car crash,
But now he's in a better place."
I'm the first to cry
They think I'm a mental case
No one else cares that the English fifteen-year old died
Chorus:
He couldn't wait to get out of this town
Everyone here was bringing him down
He'll make something of himself one day
And we wait
But now he's just an unwanted, typical,
average, everyday memory
Of an unwanted reject
Unwanted reject

The Homecoming
I wrote this about a year ago about a boy I like, but over time, it has become about two boys I like.
----
Girl: Sydney
Boy: Hunter
Sydney has had a crush on Hunter for almost two years. He has talked to her a few times, mainly for projects at school. Hunter is on the basketball team and Sydney plays guitar in her band. Neither are very popular in school, but Sydney is a wallflower. They're both sophomores.
Homecoming is coming up quickly Sydney sees this as her chance. She asks Hunter to homecoming one day during lunch. Hunter replies, "Sorry, I can't." Sydney is hurt, but she's learned that the best way to deal with pain is to get over it.
So she goes to the dance by herself. It's raining, which fits her mood. She looks gorgeous in her red silk dress and hair done up. She's a vision, but noone notices. She grabs some punch and chills on the side, kind of moving to the beat, wishing Hunter was there, wondering if she could get her money back.
Her teacher comes up to her and they talk for a while. Sydney's back is to the entrance. As the teacher walks away, the door opens. Sydney turns around to see Hunter standing there, dripping wet, and breathing hard. He sees her and they both smile.
See, Hunter had been laying at home, staring at her picture, wishing he was with her. It had really hurt him to turn her down, but he didn't feel like he was special enough to be with her. Suddenly, his feet took over, he stood up and ran out of the house, through the town and arrived at the dance. Once he realized where he was, he went inside, looking for her.
They walked to each other and kissed in the middle of the dance floor.

Toga Party and Homecoming
At my school, it is not unusual for kids to be in costume, whether for academic reasons, or for fun. First, there's the Animes (like me) who will dress in funny clothing to make people laugh and ask "Why?" Then there's the Magnet required projects that require kids (like me) to dress in costume. Of course, there's also the Madrigal singers, but I'm not in that. We've studied Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism. This week, we studied ancient Greece. Today was the main event, presentations and the OLYMPICS!
We went in to the cafetorium and either threw a javelin (cardboard tube) or tossed a discus (tortilla.) This kid called Bakewell went the farthest in the javelin, and I don't know who won the discus toss. To excite myself for these happenings a little bit more, I wore my toga (bed sheet) all day. Lots of people stopped to ask why I was wearing it. Life is great.
I also applied for my school's Homecoming Court. I needed two teacher recommendations and am only allowed to use five posters. If you know me, please tell everyone who'll listen to vote for me please!

Welcome
Hello Future Followers,
Whether you heard about my site or found it accidentally, welcome and thank you. Since this is my first post on BlogSpot, I'd like to credit my inspirations to get my own site: Mary DePrixe, Daniel Waters, and Jonathon Lankford.
First, my friend Jonathon, who I know through my cousin. He has a site for his eventual novel, "The Scarlet Sundown." [http://sites.google.com/site/thescarletsundown/] This got a fire under me to work more ferociously on my story, "Le Batalla en Playa del Rico," or as it's more commonly called, "Love's Tragedy." Besides stories, Jonathon can draw and write AMAZING teen poetry. Check out "The Scarlet Sundown" or his art at [godai-takeshi.deviantart.com]
Second, to author Daniel Waters. He has written two novels about teen zombies, "Generation Dead" and "Kiss of Life." He has two websites, [danielwaters.com] and [mysocalledundeath.com] I am not sure why I find books about cheerleaders and the supernatural fascinate me, but I also like "Bring it On."
Finally, my friends and enemies, but mostly my friends, inspire me everyday. In my world, everything is a cartoon. My friends are the crazy, very-animated characters. I will call some of my friends by their nicknames and change the names of others who request it. My closest friends are: KK, Jimmy, Judy, Hannah, Sabs, Becca, and Zakk.
Anyways, you can call me Elisabeth, Scarlett, or Scar. I am a high school girl who is just NOT normal. I will walk you through the pains of my life later, as well as upload poetry, songs, and chapters of stories I've written. I like manga and hang out with the "Animes," as I call them, at school. We understand each other.
My fingers are tired, so I will update more later. In the mean time, spread the word and check out my art at [iluvdevilschild.deviantart.com]
