Toga Party and Homecoming

At my school, it is not unusual for kids to be in costume, whether for academic reasons, or for fun. First, there's the Animes (like me) who will dress in funny clothing to make people laugh and ask "Why?" Then there's the Magnet required projects that require kids (like me) to dress in costume. Of course, there's also the Madrigal singers, but I'm not in that. We've studied Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism. This week, we studied ancient Greece. Today was the main event, presentations and the OLYMPICS!
We went in to the cafetorium and either threw a javelin (cardboard tube) or tossed a discus (tortilla.) This kid called Bakewell went the farthest in the javelin, and I don't know who won the discus toss. To excite myself for these happenings a little bit more, I wore my toga (bed sheet) all day. Lots of people stopped to ask why I was wearing it. Life is great.
I also applied for my school's Homecoming Court. I needed two teacher recommendations and am only allowed to use five posters. If you know me, please tell everyone who'll listen to vote for me please!
